Our Story

Started his career as an Accountant and Corporate Finance consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers Amsterdam & Istanbul, and left PwC to start-up Appjuice (CRM SaaS). Before Hans founded aCFO in 2016, he worked as a Finance interim manager & business consultant in various sectors a.o. the financial services, manufacturing, real estate, telecom & internet and logistics sector.

At aCFO Hans supported several (technology) scale-ups in navigating the complexities of growth to the dot on horizon, including raising venture capital.

Forward-thinking Global Senior Executive with over 25 years of international leadership experience in Finance, M&A and Commercial roles in various industries. Capable of driving change and growth in challenging environments across cultures and borders.

The last seven years Cees has worked as CFO for BOAL Group, a private equity backed company with EUR 270M in revenues and 600 employees worldwide. As CFO, Cees was end-responsible for Finance and IT. During his time at BOAL achievements include securing debt financing and positioning the company for a Private-Equity investment, executing a buy-and-build strategy and implementing a new ERP system. 

Bart is an unconventional, energetic people manager with a robust background in business information and finance. Over 30 years of experience in international finance and project management roles. Core values include integrity, loyalty, and a no-nonsense problemsolving mentality.

 

As of January 2025 Bart will be available at aCFO for fractional CFO assignments.

Forward-thinking Finance Executive with over 30 years of experience in strategy, transformation, and operational finance across sectors such as construction, manufacturing, real estate, and healthcare. Known for a pragmatic and analytical approach to solving complex challenges and delivering sustainable results.

The last ten years Hans has worked as fractional Finance Manager, as well as Business Advisor and co-investor in various SME companies. He supported strategic transitions, digitalised financial operations, and guided organisations through restructuring and growth. Previously, Hans held senior roles at Xerox Europe, Veenman, and TUI, leading finance and operations across multiple European markets.

All round finance professional with 40+ years of experience in both SME and international corporate environments.

Last 10 years working as a financial manager for B2B SaaS start-ups and scale-ups in the Amsterdam region.

 

For aCFO Willibrord is a Senior Business Controller for our clients. Born, raised and still living in Amstelveen, together with Liesbeth. Father of two adult sons. Trying to keep fit by attending gym classes twice a week, playing some tennis and cycling to the office. 

After fulfilling financial roles in various companies (mostly in the real estate and energy business), Reinier started working as a Finance interim manager & pricing consultant in 2014. Since then he has succesfully completed various assigments in the logistics, IT and financial services sector, a.o.

Reinier likes to act as Finance business partner, controlling the business by creating insightful analyses for decision making purposes for management.

​

Having a long professional relationship with Hans, Reinier has been assisting aCFO on an interim basis since 2019. Reinier's main focus has been on the creation and continuous improvement of the monthly financial reporting and forecast models, as well as the customization of financial and business specific analyses for (new) customers.

I hold a Bachelor’s in Modern Business Administration (MBA) and have over 7 years of experience in finance, accounting, and business control across professional services, NGOs, and advisory environments. I began my career with a one-year internship, followed by 4.5 years at a small accounting firm, where I managed bookkeeping for a diverse portfolio of companies.

I then spent two years at an international NGO as a Senior Finance Officer / Business Operations Support, where I progressively took full responsibility for the finance function. My role included financial controlling, audit preparation, reporting, annual accounts (jaarrekening).

​

Currently, I work at aCFO as a Business Controller. My focus is on monthly financial reporting, forecasting, and developing customized financial and business-specific analyses for new and existing clients.

​

In addition to my professional career, I am a proud mother of five children, which has further strengthened my organizational skills, resilience, and ability to perform effectively in complex, fast-paced environments

I have completed my master's degree in international business and administration at Istanbul Kent University in Turkey . During my studies, I had the opportunity to participate in two exchange programs: the Erasmus Exchange Program in Business and Administration for one year in Almería/Spain, and the Mevlana Exchange Program in Economics for six months at the International Balkan University in Skopje, Macedonia

 

I have gained experience in various areas of accounting, including controlling, reporting, and finance, across different organizations. In August 2023, I successfully obtained the Certified Public Accountant certification from the Istanbul Chamber of Independent Accountants.

I started at aCFO in January 2025 as a Junior Business Controller. My main responsibility is to ensure that our clients stay in control of their finances. This includes helping financial administrators with their daily tasks.

I began my career at ABN AMRO in 1994, where I gained my initial experience in the financial sector. Over the years, I held various finance-related positions across multiple organizations, culminating in my role as Head of Finance at Interkeramiek in Bunnik in 2008.
Following this, I relocated to Thailand, where I worked as a legal consultant with a focus on Thai legislation.

 

In 2024, I returned to the Netherlands and re-entered the financial field, where I feel most at home. I am currently employed at aCFO  as Senior Financial Controller at aCFO, where I manage a broad portfolio of clients, where I manage a diverse portfolio and apply my expertise in areas I am truly passionate about.

 

I hold a degree in Business Economics from the University of Applied Sciences in Utrecht, complemented by a Practical Diploma in Business Administration (PDB).

With a degree in Accounting and Finance and extensive experience in bookkeeping and financial administration, Samed currently supports aCFO in the role of Financial Administrator. In this position, he is responsible for accurately processing and analyzing financial data, preparing clear and reliable financial reports, and monitoring the overall financial health of the organization.

His expertise lies in optimizing accounting processes, ensuring financial accuracy, and effectively managing company finances. With a strong analytical mindset and keen attention to detail, he contributes to informed decision-making and a well-structured financial organization. He is highly organized, proactive, and continuously seeks opportunities to improve and professionalize financial processes.

Keriman works as a Financial Administrator at aCFO, where she supports financial and administrative processes and contributes to accurate and well-organized financial records.

 

She is currently studying Law at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, which provides her with a strong analytical perspective and a structured, methodical approach to her work.

In her role, she supports day-to-day financial administration, ensures careful documentation, and contributes to the consistency and reliability of financial information. Her attention to detail and disciplined way of working support efficient financial operations.

 

Keriman is organized, precise, and committed to maintaining a professional and well-structured financial environment.

As a student at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, master Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Sam brings a fresh and dynamic perspective to aCFO.

With experience in sales and investment analysis, Sam has developed a keen understanding of business growth, sales and financial strategy.

​

Currently, after being an intern for a year at aCFO, Sam now works on improving the marketing and sales at aCFO on a part-time basis.
